Weekend Projects

So another weekend has passed. I didn't get done what I wanted to do which was paint. I did however get to reupolster a bench I bought in an antique store in Illinois. I love the transformation. I also got fabric to reupolster another chair. Hopefully I will get to that soon because I love the fabric I picked out and can't wait to see it on the chair. I love fixing up old furniture its so much fun. There is alot more that I want to learn though regarding reupolstering furniture. I'm gonna for now....will post pics later of my bench and hopefully my chair.

Welcome to the World of Blogs

so this is my first post to my blog. I have no idea what i'm really doing, but i'm gonna make a go at it. I've been looking @ pics trying to get ideas for my house. I always seems to start one project then want to move the next. My living room is halfway finished...I've gotten the front half painted and the curtains hung up. Hopefully this weekend I can finish the living room and get Devin to paint the kitchen. We have the paint picked out, but is insistant on painting it himself. I think its because he as his pride and joy hanging up in there...which happens to be a 20 inch small mouth bass he caught. We're planning or should i say I'm planning on doing the kithchen in yellow and gray. I can't wait to get started on it and get it finished. It seems like the only room I have finished in my house is my daughters room. What a shame too because she doesn't even sleep in there lol. Well i think that is it for now.
